August 19 – December 10

16 Weeks of Activism

SEPTEMBERA September to Remember

This month is dedicated to remembrance of lives lost through violence from 9/11 to Aaron Alexis and the 12 lives he took. It is also a time to reflect on our history – from Operation Paperclip to non-consensual human experimentation, from COINTELPRO to the consequences of 9/11, and from the continued increase in the use of technologically advanced weaponry, psy-ops, and militarization of police and countries.

Send a pizza to your local police department and tell them it’s from a local Targeted Individual

Come to DC for a protest

Order and have delivered a pizza to a police department on Friday 9/25 to provide an olive branch during non-violence week. Make sure they know it is from a Targeted Individual. We need the police as much as anybody else and this positive step can potentially result in compassion for our issues.

Public Justice

Public Justice was just in the news for a case involving a Mexican woman who lost both hands in a factory machine. I went to their website and they seem like a perfect fit for TIs. I sent them a letter – please consider doing the same.

Public Justice

Mission statement: Public Justice pursues high impact lawsuits to combat social and economic injustice, protect the Earth’s sustainability, and challenge predatory corporate conduct and government abuses.

Some words of wisdom from PublicEye.org

If you feel you are being surveilled, your phones tapped, or that you are being followed, the best overall advice is to trust your instincts. If you feel something is wrong, trust the feeling. Your instincts are usually right. Most of us recall the times when we “felt something was wrong” or we “knew better but did it anyway.”

Talk to colleagues and make yourself as secure as you can. Experts claim that people who resist get away from attackers more often than those who do not. The same logic applies to keeping outsiders out of your business; it is a more subtle form of attack.

Trust your instincts and resist when possible. One of the biggest blocks to resistance is the failure to recognize that we are under attack. None of this advice is intended to frighten but to create an awareness of the problems. A knowledge of the strategies and tactics of your adversaries will strengthen your movement. Cover yourself; it’s a tough world out there.

To Whom It May Concern:

I have worked for 3 years with Microwave and Electronic Harassment victims throughout the U.S. and overseas. It is hard for others to understand the technology that is being used to destroy people’s lives. I know James because he contacted me for help. James has worked to find proof of what has happened to him.

Many victims try hard to get help from professional doctors to help find devices such as Veri-Chip. I would request that you and those that can make a difference would help James and others to find answers.

November 21, 2008

To whom it may concern,

The undersigned is a licensed Private Investigator, licensed in the state of Florida and the state of Connecticut. The undersigned is not an expert in electronics nor an electrical engineer certified to conduct these issues. The undersigned has however been successfully locating and identifying electronic devices that are designed to eavesdrop in individuals and harass for numerous known and unknown reasons for over forty years. References are available on request.

On or about 1500 on January 6, 2008, the undersigned met with and interviewed Mr. James Walbert of Wichita, Kansas. Mr. Walbert related to the undersigned that he believed he had been subjected to various forms of electronic surveillance and electronic harassment by persons known or unknown to him, for reasons known or unknown to him. (I shall not violate Mr. Walbert’s confidence by memorializing his suspicions in this report as Mr. Walbert is involved in a legal matter relating to this harassment.)

During the course of the afternoon of the 6th of January 2008, the undersigned tested Mr. Walbert’s person for radiation using a JM-20PRO, 1MHz – 3GHz. Portable R.F. Detector and a JM-20F RF Finder Bar Graph Display RF Frequency Detector.

The undersigned found that the JM-20PRO detected a low signal coming from Mr. Walbert’s right upper back area of his person. Upon scanning Mr. Walbert with the JM-20F the undersigned found a low bandwidth signal of a fairly steady 288MHz. (A background signal of the area was 800 to 900 MHz.)

It is also worthy of mention that while viewing Mr. Walbert through a Bushnell 26 4202G Night Vision Infrared Viewer there was a very definite visual distortion of light on Mr. Walbert’s back area.

These tests and results were witnessed by a credible third party with the permission of Mr. Walbert.

Respectfully,

William Johnstone Taylor, LPI

Thank you, CBS for printing article: People Fearing Space Weapons Target One California Town

Wo-hoo! CBS printed an article about the recent success TIs had in Richmond City, CA. While the last paragraph should have been left out, it is still something to celebrate – recognition from a reputable online venue.

Boo!!!!

Vice Mayor Jael Myrick said in a statement that he now regrets voting in favor of the resolution.

“It has become clear in the past two weeks that this resolution is being used by some to validate very dangerous conspiracy theories that may be having a real negative impact on the lives of people with serious mental illness and those around them,” Myrick said.

Yeah!!!!

The complaints appear to be coming from a worldwide network of people who think they are under constant assault from such technology and refer to themselves as “targeted individuals.”

Richmond’s resolution has been perceived as a heroic and validating step to those feeling inundated by electronic surveillance and stalking through secret military technology, according to Butt.

PLEASE do two things:

1. Comment on this article or any of the articles discussing the Richmond City resolution banning space weapons. It shows them there is interest in the story. It also provides us a voice.

2. Contact Mayor Myrick at jael_myrick@ci.richmond.ca.us and let him know TIs are not mentally ill. Feel free to use information from my previous blog post on distinguishing mental illness from hyper-vigilance. Some TIs may be suffering from PTSD or other illnesses, but let them know the complaints are real and need to be taken seriously.

Call your Senator by Friday – tell him/her to end government surveillance

Every step of our journey counts! TIs are under surveillance so change the law and make it illegal.

This is an alert from the ACLU. (You can sign up to receive their email alerts to make it easy to stay up to date, sign petitions, etc.) The links below should work – I have activated them.

What seemed like a long shot a week ago suddenly seems within reach! We’ve been fighting the abusive surveillance of the Patriot Act for over a decade – and we finally have a chance of victory.

Last weekend, for the first time, a majority of Senators took a stand against a blanket renewal of provisions of the Patriot Act. But the fight against government spying is far from over.

The Senate is coming back for a special Sunday session just hours before the Patriot Act expires on June 1st.

Now is the moment to flood our representatives with urgent messages to rein in government surveillance. We have till 5pm Friday (tomorrow).

Can you spare 3 minutes and lend your voice?

Polls show that Americans are overwhelmingly concerned about NSA surveillance, and there are prominent members of Congress who agree and say it’s simply time to let Section 215 die.

This is our chance to let them know that we support them – and to let Senators who are on the fence know how strongly we feel about ending these harmful surveillance programs.

We only have roughly a day left to ramp up the pressure and make sure our public outcry is heard loud and clear. Will you join us?

Call your Senator and tell them to restore your privacy when they meet on Sunday.

We are so close to winning this, so thanks for standing together to stop this dangerous mass surveillance of all Americans. The stakes are high. The time is now.

Thanks for taking action,
Anthony for the ACLU Action team

Email the NSA can’t access

I read this article on Forbes – The only email system the NSA can’t access

The email is called ProtonMail. It’s not ready yet, but you can sign up for it – I did. Here’s how they keep email secure:

“We encrypt the data on the browser before it comes to the server,” he explains. “By the time the data comes to the server it’s already encrypted, so if someone comes to us and says we’d like to read the emails of this person, all we can say is we have the encrypted data but we’re sorry we don’t have the encryption key and we can’t give you the encryption key.”

“We’ve basically separated the message that’s encrypted apart from the key – all the encryption takes place on your computer instead of our servers, so there’s no way for us to see the original message.”
